Position SummaryLease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist The LeaseAccelerator Operations Implementation Specialist (OIS) is a professional services expert in the system operations functionality and collection of Customer data for use within LeaseAccelerator’s lease accounting software. The Operations Implementation Specialist interfaces directly with customer implementation project team members, and provides guidance on the process for the successful data collection into our lease accounting software for each new customer implementation. Successful implementations are defined as those delivered on scope, on schedule, on budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer. This position is responsible for the smooth data collection operations required during implementation that results in this satisfaction of the customer. For some implementations, this position will act as the lead operations specialist, and for others they may be responsible for providing oversight of a partner-lead implementation. ResponsibilitiesLease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist Responsibilities of the LeaseAccelerator Operations Implementation Specialist include acting as the lead source of guidance to the Customer for the collection, validation and loading of their data into the LeaseAccelerator SaaS platform during implementation. The OIS engages early during the defined project methodology in the Configuration Phase where Customer configuration data is collected and imported, and concurrently during the Portfolio Data Collection when Customer legacy lease data is located, collected, abstracted and input into the LeaseAccelerator intake workbook for importing into the system. The Lease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist manages the customer’s data collection resources as determined by the certified implementation plan scope and schedule. The OIS regularly communicates this status to the LeaseAccelerator Project Manager. The Operations Implementation Specialist works closely with all LeaseAccelerator and Customer teams and may need to travel occasionally to on-site Customer meetings, as needed. Customer-Facing ResponsibilitiesKey customer-facing responsibilities for the Lease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist also include the following: Lead the Customer business process assessment process during the initial Assess and Design phase of implementation. Conduct and document discovery assessment sessions with Customer implementation project team members and Customer functional leaders to collect current state lease processes and practices. Provide subject matter expertise in the Configuration and Portfolio data elements contained in the Configuration Intake Guide (CIG), Configuration Intake Workbook (CIW) and Portfolio Intake Workbook (PIW). Lead the Software Deployment and Configuration project though coordination of the Customer’s efforts to collect Configuration Data and Legacy Lease Data, and its import into the LAS system. Provide subject matter expertise in the identifying potential sources for the Configuration and Portfolio data within the Customer’s existing systems and/or lease documents. Demo LeaseAccelerator features and functionality to Customer and Customer Partner implementation project team members, in person or via video conference, to support understanding and knowledge needed for Customer project performance. Act as the expert user of all LeaseAccelerator features so as to effectively communicate to the Customer where and why data is captured and where it is located in the LeaseAccelerator UI; the impacts and ramifications if data is not populated (if not required by LeaseAccelerator); and the roles, privileges and permissions associated with each. Coordinate with the Customer to determine the initial Access Control settings for each Customer system user. Internal ResponsibilitiesKey internal responsibilities for the Lease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist responsibilities include the following: Engage with LeaseAccelerator’s Lease Accounting Technical Taskforce (LATT) to support related implementation activities with the Customer and/or Customer’s Partner, if engaged. Engage with LeaseAccelerator’s Customer Support team to aid in the smooth, successful Customer hand-off from Service to Support. Engage with Big Four firms, our ERP partners, and Implementation Consulting Partners as oversight OIS for LeaseAccelerator implementations. If requested, participate in lease accounting implementation thought leadership seminars, roundtables, webinars and other forms of communication to help establish and validate LeaseAccelerator as the lease accounting category leader. If requested, engage with solutions consultants to perform pre-sale Business Process Assessments with our target accounts and provide lease accounting best practices recommendations, through the Solution Workshop relative to the economic, operational and accounting challenges now facing large global corporations. If requested, collaborate with the LeaseAccelerator Sales Organization and strategic partners in the execution of the consultative enterprise sales process, which may include the following tasks: Present to potential Customers the LeaseAccelerator implementation data collection methodology. Work with sales leaders to develop a mutual action plan (MAP) for implementation data collection services and cost estimates to be included in Customer proposals. Engage effectively with the LeaseAccelerator Customer Success Team regarding the development and delivery of lease accounting implementation data collection solutions and services that will enable the customer to be successful. Contribute in discovery workshops conducted by LeaseAccelerator Solutions Consultants with potential customers to help them better understand the data collection requirements for their lease accounting implementation; identify potential areas for process improvement and qualify the potential value of making those improvements. Work with product management on identifying and developing implementation data collection requirements to help insure LeaseAccelerator maintains category leadership. Advance the mission and vision of the company and uphold and exemplify its core values. QualificationsLease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist ELA for large global organizations is a complex enterprise business process that spans a wide range of corporate functions, including – Sourcing – Operations – Finance and Accounting. The Lease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist must be versed on these functions with the knowledge, experience and skills to engage functional manager in implementation methods as they apply to the setup, configuration, workflow, and data collection implementation of the LAS System to the Customer.The ideal Lease Accounting Operations Implementation Specialist possesses and demonstrates the following: 5+ years of experience working with and applying data management and collection best practices, methods and solutions that can be focused on achieving successful LAS system implementations, on Scope, on Schedule, on Budget, and to the Customer’s satisfaction. Experience assessing Customer data requirements against project scope so as to manage the implementation plan and ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, Customer responsiveness, and reliable communication. Responsible for managing Customer data collection expectations. Strong, consultative communication skills to effectively discuss ELA implementation data collection challenges, opportunities and solutions with project team members from the Customer, LAS, and any participating LAS Partners. Strong teambuilding skills, across various, diverse resource entities. The ability to manage and advance multiple implementation projects simultaneously with a significant degree of autonomy, often with little or no support from anyone else and in the service of busy and sometimes rude prospects and customers, who may or may not value your work, with smiles and lightheartedness even when you are having a bad day. Equipment leasing management (ELM) knowledge (preferred) that spans the key elements of equipment lease portfolio management and reporting for real-estate, equipment, and leases embedded in service agreements. Outstanding communication skills, which means a great listener and impactful speaker with a certain magnetic gravitas. Experience and knowledge working with corporate functions to include information technology, procurement, operations, treasury, finance, and accounting. The willingness to travel within North America to engage customers, prospects, partners and market influencers as needed.
