The NOC is a 24/7, 365 operations. The ability to communicate clearly with both clients and other technicians is vital to success in this position. Customer service is a top priority. Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd Shift.Primary functions are to coordinate and execute tasks/assignments such as:Work with Level I/II engineers providing training and mentorship while addressing service requests.Respond to the Operations telephone line and online ticketing system (Ubersmith). Backfill/provide technical support for NOC Engineer I/II if required.Analyze customer environments for possible opportunities to improve performance and/or solve issues before and/or after client requests.Internal/External projects assigned by management.Your primary function is to assist with Level I/II with resolving Nagios alerts. After Action reports (AARs), both internal and external are required for all production outages.Monitor service requests as they are submitted to ensure timely responses.
